Use matching criteria
One office may emphasize fertility and another pain, so first define the concern for which you are seeking care. Check each provider's state license, relevant training, experience with that concern and willingness to coordinate with your medical team. A polished biography is useful context, but it is not an independent license check or evidence that a particular result is likely.
Compare the actual offer
Request the initial consultation price, follow-up price, expected visit cadence and any separately billed herbs or products. Find out who decides whether to continue after the first few visits and whether a package is optional. A lower advertised visit charge can be misleading if it excludes an evaluation or assumes many future appointments.
Read reviews in context
Look at the review platform, date wording, specific service described and whether the author discusses a single visit or a course of care. Reviews can reveal communication and scheduling experiences; they cannot establish clinical effectiveness. Acupuncture Associates' official pages list service categories, which you can use to frame a direct question about fit.

Should I choose solely by star rating?
No. A rating reflects an individual account. Verify credentials, discuss your own goals and compare written costs as well.
