Read what the page actually says
The official practitioner page names Susan G. Schiff, A.P., DOM; Donna J. Tomey, C.C.T.; and Dr. Xining Wang. Susan Schiff is described there as clinical director. A saved profile does not independently prove current staffing, license status or which services each person can offer at an upcoming appointment. Ask the practice who would see you and what that person's role is.
Verify credentials separately
NCCIH distinguishes education, certification and state licensure. If you are choosing an acupuncturist, use the Florida Board of Acupuncture as the license-verification entry point and ask the office for the exact name on the license. Do not treat a title or a historical directory record as a substitute for that check.
Ask about experience and coordination
Describe your actual concern—such as pain, fertility treatment or pregnancy—and ask about experience, safety precautions, consultation length and whether the clinician works with your treating medical team. Confirm price and availability. A useful profile should lead to a focused conversation, not to an assumed outcome or promise.
Questions and answers
Does a profile prove someone is currently taking appointments?
No. Confirm availability and role with the practice and verify professional licensure through the state when relevant.
