Respect its limits
A rating-only source entry has no original body to interpret. It may reflect an overall impression of a practitioner or practice, yet it does not identify the service received, number of visits, medical condition or result. A review site should show that missing text plainly instead of writing a summary or attributing a treatment outcome to the reviewer.
Use it alongside other records
Look at the platform and displayed date, then read full written accounts for concrete aspects such as explanations, wait time, comfort and follow-up. Do not average a handful of visible entries into an unsupported platform-wide score. Source platforms use different prompts and collection periods, so numbers from separate directories need their own context.
Ask your own questions
If a rating makes you interested in the practice, verify what matters to you: clinician credentials, current Wellington location, whether your concern is within the practice's listed services, proposed visits and fees. No rating can answer those questions for a future appointment.
Questions and answers
Why is there no quoted comment beside some stars?
The native source record supplied a rating but no written review. Adding a comment would invent reviewer words.
